Katie hutchinson: I met Shannon in 2001 through Michelle, I met her at a party at Rodgers/Shannon’s house, I had a little too much to drink and don’t quite remember the rest of the evening. It was that night that I met my ex-husband. Shannon and I had both been actresses. We lived 1/2 a mile away from each other and we got pregnant at the same time, Sofia and Wyatt were born 2 months apart. We supported each other through our pregnancies. I felt such a kindred spirit with Shannon, she was an empath and too sensitive for this world, I was, too. She and Michelle and I walked 3 miles every day with our new babies so that I could get the gynormous amount of weight off from my first baby. We did this every day for a year. She helped me get ready for my wedding. We decided in 2005 to both go get our MFT’s together. We studied for a year together over the phone getting ready for our impending, hideous test. We lived through horrible internships together. I went into private practice and I cajoled her into starting her private practice

When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, I got her in touch with my other friend that had it so that my friend could calm her down. I thought that she had beat it.
